ircCloud is free,. but it disconnects when there's no activity for 5mins. I just pay the $5/month. It has never given me any problems.

To be fair I think he is also looking for a recommendation not just the app, if not he is a lazy asshole as stated. Celphi is mostly correct except the time out time is 2 hours not 5 minutes.

IRCCloud is the best I’ve used but I pay for it. Options are more limited for an iPhone user due to the timeout of apps running in the background while locked if you want notifications.
