Also dont take any of the black cars from the airport. They are illegally operating. Theres a taxi line outside the front doors there is usually a line of people, it's in the median.

Actually but its true that some bathrooms have no paper or water. So yeah bring a pack and some essentials, they don't believe in soap either. However China is underrated. I dont like all the squat toilets though..

Haha! Thanks for the tips! Yeah, just finished the trans-siberian and thought Id pop into Beijing for a few days while I was so close. The whole VPN thing is annoying a heck though.
