FYI since there's lots of complaints about it missing. Will be focusing on the Alliance server implementation first and foremost; may make it available in other servers as well depending on demand.

TBD on what that will entail, but I'll be working on it then. I may turn it on mid-round so consider this your warning.

Being back to work after parental leave and then watching my kid when I'm home from work has made it challenging to find the same amount of time I had during the summer, so now I need to use vacation for it :)

Probably correct. But in regards to the previous bot changes: If you consider the other game servers, it will be near impossible to implement some game changes and avoid them being while a round has already started. Bots are a prime example of a portion of the game that affects other game servers, so changes to those items will almost always be in the middle of a round somewhere.

How is it not giving the netters something? Netters are complaining about being suicides on. Which they have a legit complaint. And now the clan GDI will help deter suiciders. I'm not even saying don't give it to them. I'm just asking for something for the war clans as the last 24 hrs and the h0m0tarian range shrinking does nothing but hinder us. (once again something that helps netters which is fine. Just take it away from war clans) also. U putting the words netgain and imag in the same post is sacrilegious and blasphemy. If old imag leaders read that. They would probably drink bleach like a pregnant chick with a unwanted pregnancy

the worst change was when decay was changed retroactively during a reset

when one alliance basically used only that and another one basically only went luck

i thought things have been handled pretty well with rulesets applying on new servers

i guess if bots all share one codebase it doesnt help but theres no real reason there shouldnt be a 'main' codebase that can be updated to servers as a new set start if its going to do something crazy

but i cant imagine some sort of retroactive change that helps some people and not others

maybe if bots changed strat, or some strats became out of range due to too little nw or too much defence
