Isn't the '2-step' window typically equal to the retal window..? Someone from their own 'team' hit them within our retal window before our retal was taken, that's a two-step by FFA standards at least.

after checking the boards it was actually a retal as per out Insult:Langrab retal policy. apparently #1 called #6 a fluffhead and instead of taking the standard 4:1 our FA negotiated 1:1 retals.

our FA is a fair person.

2 stepping as I remember it is 24 hrs, but I'm no FA so don't take my word for it. Also, #6 is tagged WoS, #1 is tagged WoT - so it was not an intra-tag hit - #6 grabbed #1.

#6 is a fluffhead for the record, though...as is #1 :-P

I know I saw something about this on our boars, but can't find it.

Anyway, for the most part, I alwasy figured 2 stepping happens in the first 10 hours. Usually it's done within the hour(really within a couple minutes) if it's a true two step. Plus, on the first hit, you got all but 62 acres back(which you more then claimed in Ghost acres)

anyway, this FA on TT is fun.

I do see that the guy nails you twice within 36 hours. You should get 1:1 first hit, 2:1 second hit, thus you took 1 retal, and have 2 retals available. Unless you'd rather take the land:land, at which would be 1 PS and 1 SS that should easily get you your land back.

WHich is better for you?

That's strictly what's wrong with this server.. it's wrong for other people to grab your separate tags cause they're all part of teh same 'collective', yet it's fine for you guys to grab each other cause they're 'different tags'.. even after grabbing outside your tag.

Nobody said it was OK - retals will be had. We also don't cross over on retals - if you grab WoT, you will be retalled by WoT....if you grab WoS, you will be retalled by WoS....etc, etc, etc.

havoc i dont remember anyone saying you couldnt grab any of our tags, but when your member uses one of ours as his personal land farms because they cant retal him, thats when you have an issue from the "collective".

bottom feeding a tag is just as dirty as someone demoing you down to take a retal. demos arent even a harmful spy op anyways it doesnt hurt you at all.

also i take it the guy failed some of the demos if youre positive that it was the retaller. otherwise you are just speculating.

Depends on who you talk to. Most people know to talk to me to get the most fair thing, as I keep these guys as fair, and calm as can be.

It would be in my opinion a case by case scenario. If someone is taking advantage of a tag, by bottomfeeding, demo's are a decent solution to make the retal, or to LG to prove a point, rather then other, more deadly option.

Quick question, when you farm untags are smaller teams and such, do you by chance disable thier missles?

did he do 20 demos? thats a noob move if he did. should have only been 7 or 8. anything past that and youre just being a fluff.

using demos to retal is different then using them to make a landgrab. if i cant grab you im not entitled to resorting to those tactics so i can grab you. however if you take my land, ill use any means necessary to get it back as you are NOT entitled to keep my land because im not able to break at 100%. im just saying. i havent been grabbed this set so i cant really complain.

The demos may have made a difference on an earlier retal, but the last retal was a dictator rolling with 10mil jets on a ps. Even with your allies you were going to lose that one.

For the record fellas, Demo != harmful op. You don't actually lose anything other than readiness, therefore it's not considered a harmful op. Harmful ops are SR/CD/Bio/etc.
