When i convert from commie to theo, does it cause me to lose $, construction sites or tech? I am thinking that i should place all of my military on the Public market, convert and then recall. Is this correct?

you lose military, money, food and techs when you switch from commie to theo so put max mililitary and techs on market with high price and spend cash to bushels and put also those to market at high price and switch.

Above e certain networth the percentage you lose increases. Chances are that if he is a commy he has a decent networth and might lose more than 14%. I don't know the exact numbers out of my head, maybe the wiki has the answer.

if he converts to theocracy and build all land except constr. sites to military bases then his priv. market prices are very low so he gets alot profit per sold unit, for example his priv. market price for troops is 78 bucks per unit and he sells those at public at ~140-150 so even after taxes he gets big pile of cash when he sells millions of troops.
