Thanks... I'd try to be offended with macdaddy, but it's so much more fun watching him cram his foot further into his mouth every time he decides to demonstrate his lack of tact on these boards. I would suggest the idea of creating the FFA Darwin Award, but he'd be a multiple recipient... and it would probably have the unintended effect of boosting his ego.

I've seen a lot of places around here in on the Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah put signs up in their windows, that say they're doing away with drinking straws... for environmental concerns. And the ones doing it are already sit-in restaurants... so it makes very little sense for them to do it, especially when they never gave you a friggin straw in the first place, as there was no need, each of these places gave you a good 20 or more ounce plastic cup or glass, which was filled with ice and your choice of soft drink or tea at the fountain machine. Now, if these places gave you the kind of cups you'd get at a convenience store/gas station that needed a lid, I could see the need for a straw... but then again, Utah.

I might do something... don't know quite what it is yet, but just somewhere to play quietly. I haven't played since my brother passed away in January 2017, and dealt with another family tragedy in 2018 when my mom passed. Having to deal with a lot of bull regarding paying for two funerals, dealing with the business of settling any outstanding debts they had, and in the case of my brother having to mediate quarrels with my siblings over the division of my brother's assets, and then when it happened with my mother, it took a lot out of me.

Should get your own domain and hosting, so you don't have to rely on having to host this on other sites, but I don't know if you have to do any physical updating with things... seems like they're hosted on subdomains though. Just my two cents.

Also, I don't mean to sound like I am picking at you or your work at all. I know what it's like to have to use a free service for internet hosting. A good one that you might like is X10 Hosting. All you have to do is log-in to your account around the beginning of each month, and you don't have to worry about a thing. http://www.x10hosting.com your site would be more like li.x10host.com/market, etc... but their hosting is great and aside from having to log-in around the beginning of the month, there are no other hassles. And it's FREE, no banner ads, no pop-ups, no pasting their name on your site.

Damn, I've got some good timing. Though on a casual glance, I thought the forums were kind of dead, then realized it's because it's near the end of the set. :P

I'm still trying to figure out how Russia "interfered" in the election. They can't hack 320 million people, they can't influence the Electorate College, they can't influence the election in any way. I think it was that one campaign debate where Hillary was literally foaming at the mouth about Russia, and when the topic was border security, the derailed it to talk about how she "would be the one to push the button". When I saw that, I had chills down my spine... because it reminded me of The Dead Zone.

Here's something to think about. We have 535 people in Congress. 535. We have a U.S. Amendment that gave the District of Columbia the same electoral votes as the state with the lowest population... which is Wyoming. And that's three electoral votes. That's how we come to the number of 538 electoral votes. Now, I know that it's not our Senators or Representatives that cast the votes, but if you look along party lines at which party has the majority in each state post-mid-term election...

All you have to do, is pay attention to the mid-term elections, and always count on D.C. voting Democrat, and you can predict the election results easily. Back in February 2016, I predicted a 232 to 306 landslide. And lo and behold... a 232 to 306 landslide happened.

I didn't vote for either Trump or Clinton. I voted with a write-in because, at that point, it wasn't choosing a lesser of two evils, because there wasn't a lesser evil.

But what I mentioned earlier about the topic being border security. It was in the third and final debate, and the topic was actually regarding immigration, and as soon as the moderator for the debate brought up WikiLeaks, she pulled a hard pivot from the topic of immigration, and started ranting and raving about Russia, and then said these two gems.

"I find it ironic that he is raising nuclear weapons. This is a person who has been very cavalier, even casual about the use of nuclear weapons." "But here's the deal. The bottom line on nuclear weapons is that when the president gives the order, it must be followed. There is about four minutes between the order being given and the people responsible for launching nuclear weapons to do so."

Makes you wonder who her first target would have been, doesn't it?
