I think the problem with leeching is it is usually not diplomatic. Ex. Hey I am a big bad commie you could use some def off and intel and I could use some techs. Usually it is a few buddies setting it up. Or after a diplomatic breakthrough for a leech one set and others those guys become your buddies and you get the techs.

I have had another good set. No complaints here. My def/intel ally was in purple but now he is not? I don't know what is up with that. I didn't even get attacked once all exploring and should hit 20 million :)

It can be diplomacy. You know, find a mediocre techer who has weak defense offense and horrible intel offer them the power of your commie military for some techs.. ha ha ha ha :) It is shady though ;) I have done some leeching in my days. At the same time I have had no leech and have had my better finishes. Teching in primary this set, but running a pretty mean all explore commie in express this set leech free of course ;)

I am 7th all explore with a late juicey retal. The key is to sell big or go home without 20million finish. I normally do not mass explore so that was intresting. Mass explore save me so much time and maybe just maybe it better, but still not breaking my all x record with no mass explore
