Can easily be fixed by having all countries enter free GDI at the start of the set. Leave GDI at your own peril and be able to rejoin if no attacks were made in the interim.

I'm not disputing the fact that you can easily check the news, but coincidences happen and have happened. If the mods are going to enforce a rule on this then they better cover all scenarios to which it would be implicated.

But they seem to be quite content with the existence of all this gray area surrounding this issue.

Thread TLDR;

2 Non-GDI countries have the ability to co-ordinate offline to kill another Non-GDI country and won't be deleted if they wait a few hours.

2 Non-GDI countries with no co-ordination can unknowingly kill another Non-GDI country at the same time and be deleted for it

?????

You're the ones treating cherry picking exactly the same way as co-ordination.

You either let cherrypicking, kill runs etc happen, or you give every country an option to join GDI for free at the start of the set. There shouldn't be any middle ground.

Team play isn't allowed, so which would you prefer a blanket ban on CPing or a timeframe that allows you to cp

Your fundamental flaw is that you are always assuming that if 2 countries hit the same country at the same time or similar timeframe, then it is co-ordination.

Yet you are allowing a predetermined time to pass before giving this the all clear of no co-ordination.

Your ideology behind how you want this to work allows it to happen.

If I co-ordinate a kill with another country in secret without you mods knowing, whilst waiting for a predetermined amount of time before finishing off a country, I won't be deleted.

But if I kill a country for fluffs and giggles without checking if the target country had already been attacked recently, I will get deleted.

That's some A++ logic right there.

Isn't that essentially the premise of joining GDI? What if two countries with no relation with one another decide to hit kill off the same country at the same time? You're going to delete them both for "co-ordination"?

Any sort of time-frame would have more relevance in a slower paced server. In the Express server? No way. Coincidences happen and have happened to me in previous sets. I've langrabbed a country at the same time as another country within 1 second before.

So you're going to place an arbitrary value to determine if Country C gets deleted? Jesus christ.

Me either. Riddler brought up something about killing a country that was already hit. I voiced what would constitute a deletion in my book. And that his scenario was fine.

The situation I brought up is

A HITS B

B hits A

C kills A in between attacks or in a close proximity of time.

I would delete c, if C had nothing to do with either side.

You want to fight wars on two fronts, there is the option to not hit report. I/we dont troll news looking to disrupt sets.

B doesn't hit A. C kills A. Why doesn't C get deleted? C didn't have anything to do with A or B.

Your assumption is B checks if A has been hit.

Using the argument of the timeline of attacks to cherrypick a kill is nullified on the express server due to its pace.

Was moreso thinking of a dummy environment with no variables - pricing, turns etc of what the benchmark % should at least be reached. But I guess your program is too specific and tailored differently.

e.g. If i get my tech up to X%, I can easily calculate if purchasing up to Y% at the current market price will be worth it with my remaining turns. But I never know if my X% is an optimal starting point to being with.

I'm interested in the rough optimal military/bus/res/indy tech percentages, purely based on the formula itself. i.e. the point until the benefits drastically slow down.

Btw this all comes from the express server.

I did another comparison as the country in question looked like it had recovered slightly. Population had recovered to 85k pop @ 11k acres. Previously it had ~15k pop @ 10k acres.

Food production now shows the correct value. Tax revenues were also correct however military expenses were still slightly off.

Regarding tax revenues, expenses and food production, these values in the immediate spy report and the saved spy report differ. I have a feeling this discrepancy only shows up when a country has a very low population after a GS etc

You're turning this into "who's better" argument. I posted that link just so you could see that even though I play to net every set, I have no qualms in throwing it when things don't go according to plan.

Your gameplay is still inefficient as dictated by your country 2 sets ago; hence my original post in this thread hoping you would've learnt a thing or two since then.

I had to see and investigate your situation

I am not even taking your comments seriously from earlier..... LoL... he double tapped you DH... and yet you decide to war on that hit... when you could have ignored it and moved onwards to a good net gaining session... let alone you GS him.. and not BR/AB..... lol... if you are GS'ing to kill.. you better be fully loaded with turns and hit all at once... otherwise good luck lol

........ it blows my mind that if you are so +EV player that you would engage in such a silly fight.

Be diff story if he kept attempting to hit you DH and hurting your military.... but common... LT you ignore the hit you move onto greener pastures.... oh man oh man. But then again i used to be a try hard like you that got annoyed at the stupidest things and did not think before acting... that is you now lol.... you have the intelligence to play an amazing game.. just not the discipline to restrain yourself from -EV situations

When I don't read the market correctly and end up having max + stored turns leaving me vulnerable to mid feeders, I get lazy and find other reasons to continue playing. The double tap came at a good time.

Remember when you mentioned you were in a race with me to defend your win from last set, and you ended up 7m NW behind me.

There's a level of inefficiency with your play. I was 6000 acres behind you with 3x as many tech points whilst being 170 turns behind a few hours back.

Indy is all about who can farm the bots the fastest out of the gate, whilst bottom feeding bad to semi-bad players and outrunning their retals. What a fun game this has turned out to be. Thanks qzjul.
