Yeah, I really think the different strategies are about as well balanced as they've ever been. They've just got situational advantages that really can't be accounted for in the ruleset.

On Topic Edit: And I really don't see what you're trying to say here Twist. Encouraging Rainbows would just reinforce bad playing, the whole game is built around the idea of specializing your economy to maximize output, and Oil/Farmer is already a viable strategy under the right conditions. Why do they provide more than once choice for booms? So that you have to make that choice; that's how strategy games work.

Looking like about 20 people based on who all has checked into Boxcar. Managed to haul some great vets out of the woodwork though: JetAlone, foreskin (er, foresaken), sidrat and Huntress are all back in action. Kamiogee has made an account again but I'm not sure if he's committing to play or not.

Thanks Drow but we have several people who have him on fb as well. We're still hoping he's been otherwise occupied or unable to get online; Riddler is on at least his third or fourth life so he should still have at least a handful to go through. Ragers never die, we just restart ;)

Well I honestly didn't think about it for more than ten seconds but my thought was that you spend the most time using the explore page at least during startups when you (generally) only want to explore one at a time whereas with the mass x you're just punching it once.

Okay... maybe I was being too snarky there. My point is that some folks in this thread are implying that SS saying "I can't authorize anything now" equates to an official "go fluff yourselves". I was just being a smart ass because I don't think that level of idiocy deserves a real response.

I concede, as dlance already has above, that it's likely that SS could have made his position more clear.

Can you set the sell goods script up to not allow your goods to be sent to market if there's a problem with one of your entries?

EX: If you sell a batch of military and food while trying to stock food at more than 3x your PM purchase price the military is placed on the market (using a turn of course), the food order is ignored remains in your inventory and it doesn't print any error message like it would if you had tried to sell the food alone. If you have a lot of food on hand there could be a whole lot of stock wasted in that turn just because someone wasn't paying attention to exactly what price they're stocking food at.
