Well, I would have had $32+ million if the hurricane did not cut off my power, completely destroying the timing of my destock. Oh well, still $30+M. Should have been a win this set though.

Depends on how soon you want to go to business school and if you actually believe if business school is worth it. Most schools won't accept the test if it is more than 5 years old. Considering that the average age in b-school, at least where I go to school, is 27/28, you would have to time it well to take the test while in undergrad.

The US had a travel ban if you had HIV until 2009, so this wasn't that unusual. The US was one of the last countries that still had the ban. Looks like Russia still has it as well. Obama ended that. Ban was enacted in the late 1980's.

This seems like a negative change in Tourney and will decrease the overall grabbing. Since all tourney countries are automatically in GDI, the land grab returns will be cut in half since most hits will be At War: NO, GDI: YES.

I don't think that therre is a huge bottomfeeding issue there for the most part and a lot of the top countries do not bottomfeed (for example, my country last set did not bottomfeed.)

Surprise! I should have won last set too, but completely botched my destock.

I'm not playing next set though, going on a nice vacation to Europe half way through the set for 8 days. Maybe I'll play Sept/Oct.

High frequency trading does not provide liquidity since they have no position at the end of the day. If you are taking a long position, during the day a different investor must be selling. There is a difference between providing volume and providing liquidity.

True. Maybe have a difference between primary and alliance. Warring in alliance unexpectedly with the free GDI is very annoying.

But in primary if you have gdi and hit someone once with gdi, they still can't do special attacks against you if they drop out of GDI? (Sorry, I don't play primary so have no idea how it work exactly).

Since there are few targets, it seems like that the new way to gain land to have top NW countries is to fs an alliance that is 2/3rd your size. Most of their strength will be killed in the first few hours. After that, just farm and keep on killing at a slower rate and you will have tons of land with minimal chance of repercussion.

Actually, farmer's for the most part don't care about the market. This sets low prices and consistent tech prices make it an amazing tech set and an above average casher set. However, the set is still young...

a) you should be more upset at Paradigm
b) Since you have no tag protection, every clan is hitting you, even a clan that is at war
c) it looks like EVO offered you a uNAP, if you accept it they will stop hitting you...

You are already not allowed to eat prepared/pre-cooked meals like rotisserie chicken. I see junk food as no different than that. Btw, my super market has a significant proponent of people using food stamps, I would say one of the saddest things is seeing people being unable to buy basic necessaries since their benefits are not large enough/they do not have the money to survive and have to not purchase everything they would like to buy for their families.

The networth figures don't include the huge stockpiles amassed by LaF and RIVAL. The 828M nw at the time of the FS low balling the strength of their original countries, as you can tell with the current numbers they now have over 1B nw, which is chiefly due to blowing part of their stockpiles. EVO, on the other hand, had minimal stockpiles since most of their countries are restarts.

If anything, the nw difference is closer to 3x than the 2.5x at the time of the fs when taking into account stockpiles.

Clearly an even war.
