After the anti-retal coalition, half the people lost interest in playing. Kinda funny that they were fighting for no cross-retalling, then once they won, they abandoned the server.

Let the people who are dedicated to the server play as they want. If people want to fight over it, fight over it then.

Only if you're basis of a topfeed is on land. If its on NW then its not gonna matter much because the NW ratio disparity will decrease returns.

Under your suggestion TAN, it'd actually be pretty pointless, cause most of the times suiciders are much lower NW and are aiming for stock not land, so by suiciding at a large NW ratio like 1:4, you'd instead see less land (keeping the revenge from taking affect) and the suicider still getting plenty of stock.

The revenge thing is stupid. Especially since so many clans two-step suiciders immediately anyways.

"Revenge" rate seems way too strong. Especially being that almost all retals on countries that retain the grabbed land are pretty beneficial already.

Revenge factor I could see limiting landgrabbing even further if people think they'll automatically get retalled back for 10% more.

I'm not sure how much MORE successful Germany would have been pushing into Russia during winter, but with no US/British intervention, Hitler could have pushed in during better weather and I doubt then that Russia would have done much against Germany.

Ivan - two things

1) Thomas' opinion doesn't equate to Collaborations overall opinion. As you can see in the other thread, I supported SOL's actions.

2) We have known cheaters? Like who? Since when? and what proof have you? The last time I ran multiple countries was 2004. You can ask the game mods, I've reported my own players and investigated my own players with them previously.

Thats correct, there was a set I ran multis to kill FBI (also the set I was a JR in RD).

But the other 3 years of cheating I dont think I personally contributed to the downfall of the game.

And before anyone tries to put a bad word in about my currently, I have a tendency of reporting my own players if I think their cheating. Thats something Pang/Slaggy can probably vouch for.

Ivan, I agree with the deletions, and I'm not worried cause I know if any of those countries can prove their independence from the other, the mods will probably reinstate them. However, I'm just not a fan of the whole different servers policy.

The only reason I'm not a fan of the whole different servers deletions thing is because I couldn't give a rats ass about FFA, and if my EE password wasn't my uber universal password, I'd probably let someone login to my FFA account ;p Since it is my uber password that I use for at least 3 other important things, I wouldnt though ;p

It's entirely plausible from what I've read that these guys cheated in FFA, but not in Alliance. Again, I understand that with the login info, they COULD have cheated in alliance to if they wanted to. I just know there are other players that play FFA like me that dont give two fluffs about it. Butttttt I'm not an admin so I just throw out my two cents, even though I know this isn't something that will change.

Not all cheaters were the downfall of this game heh. I was a good cheater the majority of my cheating days. It was rare that the countries ever helped each other directly or indirectly and just as rare for me to kill fluff with multis. I did however, help keep some small alliances afloat by leading them when no one else did, which probably kept player numbers up for the game. Cheat, I did, though it wasn't the cheating that caused the downfall per se.

I wouldnt be surprised if we find out this was a third party that hacked/logged into the accounts.

I think this is honestly a play at discrediting NA yet again.

Hence why I believe deletions across all servers is retarded. Yet, again, I understand why it's being done, but still think its retarded.

I'm not sure I'm for this "well if they cheated in FFA, they should be deleted in Alliance!" rule.

Hopefully there was something worth deleting them for in Alliance.

I do understand the implication of giving out your login information to someone else and that player being able to access all servers, however, I'd rather see deletion on the cheating server and deactivation/suspension of the account until the player contacts that admins about the situation for the other servers not touched.

A second violation of the rules resulting in a country deletion across all servers however I don't think is a bad idea.
