I saw a player once farm a guy mercilessly for a couple days, and then AB the crap out of him afterwards just to keep him down. This player went on to win the round. If I was his victim, I would feel justified in suiciding him when i got back to game A. but not like set after set after set, just once to get revenge.

I have that issue currently haha, some guy told me he was gonna "hunt me down every set" so now i hunt hin down and AB him til he has 0 CSs, fun fun fun!

Ive always thought that one of the aspects that made tourney unique was the politics. you can't hide behind a new name each set. That coupled with fewer targets makes things complicated.

I always time it so i'm in game C i choose NOT to make new name every set, easy to find me, if anyone threatened me and didn't change name is getting a whooping :-*

I always thought that multi-set grudges were one of the defining characteristics of the tourney style. Since the same name is kept from round to round, I thought that was a built in risk to this style rather than the other platforms where Country names are changed each set. If the long term goal get to and win game A, that takes diplomacy and political manuevering starting in game C.

Mr Charcoal, I would say it depends on the offense for which one is considering holding a grudge. Speaking of which, I'm trying to remember whether there are any grudges I'm supposed to be holding onto from 12 years ago. If anyone could kindly help with that, I'd be so thankful. As it is, I think I'm ok with everyone so far lol.

That would depend on the heinousness of a guys play. If some moron decided to make it a battle by abusing his right to be an asshole, then I would feel justified in being a better asshole. Thus, I'd ruin the guys game until he quit, or changed his tune.

Haha what about inter-set grudges? i.e. Country A farms country B in primary. Country B cannot retal for whatever reason and Country B finds country A in Tourney and goes nuts.

Go for it, Charcoal. Grudges are a way for players to learn to behave themselves. If you have pissed someone off enough, you deserve to have their undivided attention until they have worked it out of their systems.

I never forget an enemy and will certainly prepare for their upcoming beatdown at my hands.

I can wait a long time to avenge myself too, thus, they might not realize why they are getting it, but then I'll just remind them.
