where else have you seen those sites or games? The only place I've seen them is here. Same for them other players voting their own games. Does anyone know who has come over from those games? Have we tried them out yet? I really don't think there is much advertising there. Pang and co are just making a meta-game out of it.
4 turns a day from bonuses, 60 days a game with 78 turns a day is 5% more turns, which can be concentrated towards stockpiling (240 turns). And this doesn't include the post a week keeping this place active. I think it's pretty significant.
I just hate the guessing games with verifying a vote.
There's actually three meta-games. If you like the voting and trying to have your game beat the others, you'll prolly check out the other games and report back, or recruit from. Or we could swamp one of the other games like we have since eve... Then there's the bonus game, and deciding how best to optimise your bonuses for your strat. The third...
