You can't change the repercussions part because, let's face it, no matter how often you personally retal against a bottomfeeder, it's still way less likely for an attacker to get retaled by a bottom player than by a top-half player, who can almost always retal if they want to pump jets for awhile.

You did, one time and for one unlucky guy. But that doesn't change anything. It remains far safer to attack lower players than top half guys. I mean, just think about it, who is more capable of making a retal? A bottom guy or a mid/top guy? The answer is clear, basically by definition. You can't change that. And anyway, seeing as you finished top ten, you're not a bottom player anyway, you were just a miscalculated target by oldman.

Also that was after I took a 1900 acre retal. But I was out partying instead of nursing my country. But had I stayed home and nurse my country I could have dh that retal and went around 31-32m for my country perhaps more. Depending and that's a big one if no one suicided on me since I forgot gdi. At one point I was 300 acres behind you in land with 65 turns stored and a lot of cash. Regardless of it all actions speak louder then words and one set shortly I will join the 30m club and that is after all my only Goal. That's not what I said. What I'm saying is obvious: a bottom feeder will attempt to attack people who look unlikely to attack him back, and the reason for this is obvious. You can't change that because it's simple fact that if someone is much smaller than the person who hits them, it is more difficult for them to retal. Do you want everyone only to hit people who CAN hit back? That would make for a bloody round.

also to add: some would say it's MORE ethical to hit a person who isn't competing for the top. some would say what you did to oldman was worse because it ruined a meaningful finish. It is ambiguous.
