Is there a way for me to check my news and new/unread messages when my country has been killed?

I made a mistake because I attacked before joining GDI. And I failed to wake up to increase my turret count.

Shouldn't the admin allow us to check our unread messages even when we are dead? Wanted to know other countries' last words for me :P

when you log into a dead country i know you can see the news (i do not know if this is the case for express, I could only assume- i got killed on team and alliance last reset), but i never thought about the messages.

I think it would be interesting to add, maybe not send or respond though :P
