Unfortunately I ran in to a bit of grief from an all jetter and, inexplicably I'd hit #94 early set by mistake, I think, so was waiting for the retal which was over 2k when it came...

I didn't want to make a new thread since its not really a big announcement so I'll just post this here:

Galleri and Warster are the only two moderator contacts for Express for next round and perhaps the next couple after that should it be necessary. I will be playing the upcoming round of Express and keeping a watchful eye out for whatever player(s) likes to hit into those that landgrab actual live players instead of 100% bots. As a player, I fully support the interaction of living breathing players and take offense to someone trying to discourage that by "punishing" players in-game. That said, I will only be running a country with the aim of being a pain in the ass for such efforts.

This self-named "Earth Enforcer" is not breaking any rules and technically has the "right" to play this way and with this agenda. However, with my moderator hat off, I must firmly disagree with his style. Game on.

In order to highlight alternative playing styles, I too will create a country this set and farm only those who appear to be slow burning. I don't like that they can come from behind and beat me, something something social justice #metoo

I am confused. It sounds like a player that hits other players is a good guy. A player that targets players that only target real players is a bad guy and a player that likes to net peacefully only grabbing bots is a really bad guy.

The player that likes to dictate how others play is the bad guy. Play the way you want to play - good players adapt to the conditions around the....... unless you are ebert. He just cries when things dont go his way.

fyi, if many people are playing like a-holes, that does not mean I join them in playing like an a-hole. instead I choose to fight and kill the a-holes. I also encourage others to do the same. I consider top feeding roring people to be a-holes. so I will fight and kill them, not join them.

I completely agree player vs player interaction is a good thing and the goal should not be to eliminate that aspect of play. Having said that I get frustrated at players that topfeed human players with no intention of netting.

Last set I was #94 and had a few countries hit me last day with essentially no turns left. At that point in the game (generally anything past ~1400 turns spent) unless the target has a combo of high stock / low D the attacking country is losing nw. Besides increasing their private market which none of them needed since they had no stock the grab was only to pick a fight. Maybe these players don't understand gameplay mechanics to realize the grab was a mistake.

Based on this I have no issues reference players trying to enforce their playstyle to pick targets but I would caution to leave a player who is actually trying to net alone and focus on destroying the players who are just picking fights / trying to screw multiple players.

I agree in principle that nobody should shove their playstyle and preferences down others throats. More human interaction is good. This should be a fun set. Good luck to all.

Swirvey Shark's MO was land grabs not special attacks so it won't necessarily stop the enforcer

Only an idiot or someone with a death wish plays out side of GDI.
