why not? I'm sure many earthers could find use to extra day between sets especially since FFA and Alliance end so close to eachothers.

Just because you have a life outside of EE , don't try and ruin it for us that don't!

I don't get what it would accomplish. If you don't want to play, then don't play. Either way you always have like 2.5-3.5 days, depending on server, after set starts to build up turns to max, so there you have your break and then some.

i (and many others) want to maximize turns gotten on 1st day so i login 2 times on 1st day (after set has started and 18 hrs later) and end of set jumps and new set logins in FFA and and then same in alliance cause couple not that long time to sleep nights (if sets end during weekdays).

Cap between FFA and alliance I can understand. Honestly tho Marshal you optimize your logins before you optimize your gameplay. Why is that?

I can teach you to get 60m NW every reset on team without logging in more than 20 times and for less than 10 min every time. Thats ~55% higher than your average top 3 finishes. Instead you lose sleep and don't get as far. And now you want to change the game because of it.

i am kinda with marshall in that taking the first day off does leave you at a disadvantage in turns, land and bonus points compared to someone who grabs the max on day 1

does it really matter? ... very slippery question ... could it matter? i think yes, but my intuition suggests it would rarely make a difference in rank at the finish ...

personally, i'd like to see sets shortened by one game day, and start everyone with a full day of turns, plus 6 bonus turns, plus 8 bonus points - as if we had all played day 1.

for me, an extra day where i can not play can be a virtue in real life, and i love the idea of starting with enough turns to make the opening moves
