Does the dev team have enough capacity to offer seasonal events/tweaks?

It may have been proposed before... But would be interesting to have an express type event server... With unique mechanics and a 1 or 2 week life span.

Examples
Kills capture % of resources (ebert call out)
No explore beyond turn 100
No tech
No attacks
No matket
Randomized government benefits/no government benefits

Fair point... But even dead blizzard games get more new users in a week than earth has in 20 years.

we have considered this but the overhead right now is probably not worth it

I could see it being something we do after the UI project is done and we have more bandwidth

Given my knowledge of coding and running a game is 0 -
actual question for you Pang.

Is it possible (or practical) to make changes to govts on individual servers to better balance the strategies? Different strats are better for different length games purely because of the dynamics of the server. If it were possible to tweak individual servers it could provide more balance to each server and provide players with an additional challenge of being flexible.
