The election process was subverted long ago when the first business leaders figured out that they could bribe politicians and have laws enacted, or modified to their liking. It has been going on ever since.

When they make the donation booth as anonymous as the election booth, we might have a chance to derail that system. BUT, that's a very tall order since they already own their career politicians.

The best start to recovering our nation would be to have a referendum that dictates that the entire fluffing congress can no longer be populated almost exclusively by lawyers.

You realize just because someone is libertarian doesnt mean they became that way from being a conservative first. I know quite a few of my fellow liberty minded friends that came over from the democratic party. More and more the Republican party != conservatives

If republicans really wanted to shrink the size of government, they have full control of executive & legislative branches, they could do so. But what I suspect is we no longer have a left/right political party... we have big govt/small govt. Both republicans and democrats fall in the big govt bucket more and more... they just disagree on where to spend our tax $$ on more domestic or military/contracting

What is hilarious to me is Ron Paul got an electoral college vote over Gary Johnson and Hillary got even less electoral votes than she planned.

Well, I believe that some information should be open to the public and some information needs to be protected for National Security. I don't dispute that Hillary shouldn't be in office, I just don't think Trump should be in office either. I'm just telling you I ain't no Fobbit or backseat warrior. went downrange an e-3came back an e-4 . Made about 2 grand a month. Pay was garbage but I saved quite a bit of it. Came home for a month and blew it all on a good time. Came back to my duty station with a little over a dollar. 😂 true story.

Reading between the lines in heavily redacted DOJ dossiers, it certainly doesnt look good. I still feel like, despite Kushner and jr being the next axes to fall, that the only way trump leaves office in 2020 is by losing an election. There's a precedent regarding indicting a sitting president. I think he will die in prison tho.
