The ads are really getting obnoxious

How am I supposed to have a 2 minute EE break at work when the ads skip me around to 50 different pages, won't let me navigate away from screens and generally fluff everything up?

Quit clicking on the ads.
If you're not clicking the ads then perhaps you needs to remove all of the adware, toolbars, malware etc from your computer, because the only ads I see are banner ads at the bottom of the pages.

Hrm, I have ads turned off at work but not at home and at neither location have I ever experienced anything detrimental to my gameplay...

our ads are google ads -- the most benign ads on the internet.

if you're consistently getting bounced around, it's likely due to other problems on your computer, not the ads.

only reason i have ads blocked is 'cuz google ads had some serious malware problems about a year ago ish. if they're benign again, i'll whitelist the place again

you can actually disable them in the preferences, you don't have to block them

though i do both because i hate ads =/

also apparently you can get in trouble for clicking on your own ads...

You should at least use:

Disconnect - Version: 3.0.5
Stop third parties and search engines from tracking the webpages you go to and searches you do.
