It also used to be that the attacking alliances retal policy was void..not "we hit you but we want it done this way"

Reckless. Your member dumped mass defuse missile ops, followed by 33 missiles into one of our countries without provocation. We have a few guys who are bored and not concerned with their finish who are returning the favour to the offending country.

This guy is called a suicider.

Suiciders die immediately, with or without FA contact.

If one of our guys launched 30 missiles at you, I would completely understand if you killed it immediately. I'm not sure why this is a problem for you guys.

Five grabs and RoRs is different than 33 random missiles. If our guy had grabbed you 33 times I would not expect any sort of contact.

That has never been the case... I don't know why that myth got started up in the last few sets.

So NA does 33 unprovoked missiles on a PDM country, and makes no attempt to contact PDM afterwards, and then asks why PDM isn't contacting them before killing the offender?

Defending policy was the SOP when I used to be an FA...I am unaware of why it changed.

i know, but it just makes more sense. all the people we grab in NA can usually retal their own hits - and that means they are GUARANTEED to get all their land back, + ghost acres. if it's just 1:1 as you want, then there isn't that guarantee. also, it ensures the defending country gets its land back, not someone else in the alliance. BUT we do also allow for the defending country to pass on their retals to other alliances via escalating, so basically, it's the same policy except for the fact that the defender can make multiple attacks to get all his land back. this works both ways, so NA is also entitled to take multiple retals to get all their land back (assuming it is the defender doing it). i know you have a retal policy and you need to enforce it, but i don't understand why you think our retal policy is unjust if it works both ways. i've had to deal with a few of your guys hitting me, and it's worked out fine so far. in fact, because of ghost acres, they usually get off better than i do, because they get more ghost acres for one, massive grab than i get for multiple attacks.

that's fine. just be aware that we enforce our retal policy both ways. if you get hit, feel free for the defending country to fully take all their land back. if you DON'T want people in PDM taking all their land back via this policy, then don't hit us. it's that simple.

also, if we DO hit you, you can still have it clan-wide, and if you guys match the retal by NW and land, you can often get full land:land back plus more. you just gotta coordinate your retals more.

So, as has been stated, PDM wants to enforce their policy both ways. Done and done.

NA had a suicider attack PDM. PDM responded immediately. PDM is under no obligation to "ask" you permission in killing a suicider that is tagged in your alliance. You should have helped us kill it. You should have immediately started killing it yourselves, in fact.

How is this AT ALL an issue that we didn't send you a message first? Why is this a problem for you?

Play it off if you must. The missiles were just apart of NA members being fed up with PDM grabbing. Then RoR'ing. Saying NA is in the wrong...to me that's looking for a fight.

But that was last set...we shall see what this set holds for EE.

I am telling you you should a) be more respectful in the future with your playing style and you will have less of these incidents, and I don't just mean with NA and b) be courteous enough to drop a message.
