So just like each set for the last 3 netting ones I've done, I wasn't able to login for the last day due to doing other RL fluff.

This only bugs me because once again, I had a large amount of $$ on hand. Which made me think.. might it be awesome, if when the set ends, there's a grace period of 12 hours or so which you can still login and spend cash. Turns wouldn't continue building, nor would your private market. Everything game wise would stop progressing but you could still work with what you had on hand. An official ranks would be listed after the grace period ends.

(Go ahead call me lazy for not logging in - I am)

A grace period is a bad idea. You know when the set ends, and thats that. If its extended, that only means you will miss that grace period and ask for more time.

I like the idea of a grace period (being one of those with cash).

But have you guys figure the flow on effect?

1. You (with cash) spent it on buying stuff of Public Market.
2. Now the guy who has been working hard on the last day suddenly have 1-2 bil on hand - perhaps with 1-2 hrs to go.
3. The guy will improvise, spend his money in the last 1-2 hrs of the grace period, and now someone else with 1-2 bil on hand.
4. So do we penalise ppl to show up on the actual deadline, OR people who fail to do so?

So, instead of pushing the deadline back, just log in

failure to play within the time limits is not the games fault.

A better idea would be an auto buyout of your private market if you have any remaining cash reserves on hand as the end of reset clock ticks over.

Or we could just not end sets on a Saturday. People are much more likely to be able to be home on a weekday night than on a Friday or Saturday night.

I had about 2.8 bil on hand at a guess, stuff hadnt sold when i went to bed, but had sold, and the set had ended when I woke up. Not helpful when the end of the set is at a stupid hour of the morning.

end of set time always sux to some, if its us time then its bad for euros and asians, if its gmt then its bit bad for yamkees and asians etc.
