since we can sell bushels its somewhat reasonable that we can buy too (few times at mehul's game i needed to buy at priv cause price at public was higher than priv).

I remember being so stuck back in the day where There was no food on the market as Omega (i always blamed Omega for that fluff) just did another market buyout. I would be out of food and just need enough to play 1 turn to put things on the market so I could keep playing. Commie who needed to sell just to play turns.

Without paying the stupid price for food, I would have run out of food just to try and sell to play.

There are advantages to having it there.
